San Francisco's Grammy Award Winning Latin Big Band: “Pacific Mambo Orchestra” performs at the Osher Marin JCC's Summer Nights' family-friendly outdoor festival on July 30, 2016 in San Rafael.
The Osher Marin JCC is thrilled to present Pacific Mambo Orchestra for the fourth of 5 Summer Saturday Night outdoor concerts. This 19-piece Latin Big Band orchestra plays salsa, Latin Jazz, cha cha cha, bachata, and more. Their 2012 crowd-funded first album (self-titled 'Pacific Mambo Orchestra) led them to win a Grammy in the "Best Tropical Latin Album" category in 2014. San Francisco's Premiere Salsa Big Band calls out for dancing and so the wooden dance floor comes out over the turf, and the evening begins with a Mambo dance lesson!
