The 24th Annual Summer Nights Series of outdoor music, dinners, cocktails, picnics, dancing, and fun for kids, continues on July 16, 2016 with Diego's Umbrella, a unique band that captures California's cultural multiplicity with enthusiasm, humor and decadence.
The second of 5 Summer Saturday Night outdoor concerts brings Diego's Umbrella to The Osher Marin JCC on July 16, 2016 with a celebration of cultural multiplicity that IS the San Francisco Bay Area. Labeled as “gypsy-punk”, “ska-infused groove” “electo-pop” “anthemic Brit-pop” “nouveau hipsters” with influences, encompassing “reggae, flamenco, techno, mariachi, lounge-jazz” as well as “frenzied Eastern European-influenced flamenco guitar and fiddle” Diego's Umbrella is hard to define as a specific genre. What is easy to say is they are high energy, talented and super fun.
