Breema: The Art of Being Present on March 12, 2016 in Los Angeles, CA : Join us for this rare opportunity to experience Breema in a workshop led by Jon Schreiber, Director of the Breema Center and the Breema Clinic in Oakl and, California and author of many books, including "Breema and the Nine Principles of Harmony" and “Child of Existence, Child of Society.”
Breema is a natural expression of the underlying unity of Existence. It introduces us to a new way of living and relating to life, based on nine universal principles. Instead of trying to navigate through life by relying on our subjective interpretation of events, Breema shows us how to unify mind, body and feelings to become present. When we are present, we can respond more naturally and harmoniously to whatever life puts in front of us.
This workshop will be a practical and experiential introduction to Breema bodywork, Self-Breema exercises, and the Nine Principles of Harmony as tools for becoming present. The atmosphere of a Breema workshop, supported by principles such as No Judgment and Single Moment/Single Activity, is deeply nourishing and revitalizing. Our emphasis is on exploring and gaining first-hand experience with the Principles, which can be applied in any activity or situation.
You will leave with the ability to practice what you learn for the mutual benefit of yourself and those you exchange with.
To receive a complimentary Breema mini-session in person before the workshop, come to our free introductory event on Friday evening, March 11 in the same location, from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
A second workshop will be held on Sunday, March 13 at the Brewery Lofts, with a free introductory event on Saturday evening, March 12 at that venue. See our website for details.
No bodywork experience is necessary, but participants need to be comfortable sitting, lying ...read more
