Oakland based “La Misa Negra” brings their live, high energy, Afro-Colombian dance music to the Osher Marin JCC's Summer Nights' family-friendly outdoor music, festival on August 6, 2016 in San Rafael.
The Osher Marin JCC's final Summer Saturday Night outdoor concerts celebrates the close of the season with La Misa Negra. Continuing to leave the Bay Area wanting more, and fresh off of BottleRock, this 8-piece Oakland band plays a unique blend of 1950's & 60's style cumbia and high-energy, Afro-Colombian dance music. Powered by horn and accordion-driven riffs, a fierce rhythm section, and a vintage Colombian sound expect an electrifying performance that explodes with infectious dance grooves and punk rock energy. More than just a band... It's a PARTY!
The wooden dance floor comes out over the turf, and the evening begins with a Latin dance lesson!
Tickets:
-General Admission: $25 advance/ $30 day of /Kids 17 & under FREE.

Canal Alliance DJ hosts intermission music
All performances are over before 10:00pm
