Goddess Harvest Festival on November 11, 2016 in San Francisco, CA : In celebration of the harvest season, herchurch is hosting their annual Goddess Harvest Festival. The extended weekend (four days) will be filled with workshops, concerts, dance, movement, ritual, art and celebration. During the festival, vendors specializing in hand-crafted items will be on hand to share and sell their wares. The weekend begins with a special exhibition at the ANEW Gallery, Goddess Spirit Rising. Feminists from around the Bay Area present their works honoring Goddess Spirit. This Opening reception will be a magical evening filled with music, poetry and performance art. Featured events on Saturday include SF Mission District artist Yolanda Lopez who will discuss her Virgin de Guadalupe series. She will also lead participants in an art project to make Guadalupe icons of themselves. Saturday evening ends with a concert "She is Everywhere" featuring San Francisco musical group Devi Vaani. Their music and harmonies are joyful, deep, powerful and full of hope. ####
