As a professional photographer for over a decade with a background in fine art and printing before that, I’ve emerged with a strong sense of composition and color. My love for environmental portraiture is informed by my experiences photographing events, weddings, on the street, as well as live music performance. I have developed a passion for improvising with light and color, to create striking, beautiful and memorable photographs of people in any situation. This range of experience has also proven especially essential in helping me better serve the specific needs of a variety of clients.
Making pilgrimages to Instanbul over several years, I explored the city's rich soundscape and photographed the people and musicians to document the pressures of globalization on cultural traditions. One of the ultimate venues to hear Turkish music is weddings, so I started photographing them throughout Turkey.
